This blog welcomes new writers, but is not a free-for-all. It’s a group blog with regular contributors, and space for both guest contributors and new writers.
Comments
Comments on this blog are open, but subject to approval. The comment section is the most obvious way to introduce yourself to the blog’s editors. Get involved by commenting on posts that interest you, and we may well extend an invitation to you to participate more fully with the blog.
For Guests
We’re happy to accept guest submissions, from writers who’d like to publish a once-off piece on the blog. This can be a good way to introduce yourself, your blog, novel etc to our readers. The key rule here, though, is that your piece should not be simply shameless self-promotion. If your piece doesn’t follow the general guidelines of the blog, we won’t publish it. We’re happy to include bio & Links at the end of any published piece.

New Writers
If you’d like to become a regular contributor to the blog, you’ll need to send us some sample pieces for publication. If we like what we read, we’ll organise a trial account for you with the blog.
Nobody gets paid to write on this blog, unfortunately. The only perks we can offer are occasional review copies, the chance to interview various authors, and the knowledge that your work is read by a wide literate public that includes novelists, editors, and publishers.
