Starting at dawn with a view over the city from Piazza Maggiore, looking out across its remaining medieval towers and red-bricked buildings, we get a glimpse of the main tourist attractions including San Luca, Piazza Maggiore, the markets in the quadrilatero, and the historic University - the alma mater studiorum (founded in 1088)
