Three Monkeys Online

A Curious, Alternative Magazine

Get your music featured in TMO!

TMO is read by up to 100,000 readers monthly, and now we've come up with a chance for you to feature your music in the magazine. We believe strongly in promoting new/unsigned/independent artists, and so we've come up with a new section of the magazine called, imaginatively, 'TMO 'Introducing''. Simply fill in the details below and you'll automatically be considered for this section.

Upload photo

You can upload one photo for inclusion. Photos should beless than 4mb. Photos will be resized to fit the format of the published piece.

FAQs about TMO 'Introducing'

Does submitting to 'Introducing' guarantee me/us a place in the magazine?

No. Sending in the form will automatically get you our attention, but we'll only feature bands/artists that we think will interest our reading public.

How can I/we increase the chances of getting featured?

Take some time with the questions; make your answers interesting to read, and give us a flavour of who you are/ what your music is about. Try to make it original as well - if you just copy and paste your press release/bio featured from your website it's unlikely we'll feature you.

If you do feature us will it just be in the 'Introducing' section?

The first step we take is to feature you in the 'Introducing' section. We may also feature you in playlists or tweets depending upon how enthusiastic members of the Monkeys' Tunes team are about your music. 'Introducing' features that get a good response (facebook likes /tweets / comments etc) will be featured elsewhere in the magazine alongside major artist interviews/spotlights etc.

Is this the only way to get featured in TMO?

No - we're constantly looking for new music, so we may just stumble upon you; having said that, this is the #1 way to ensure you get our attention.

Will you contact us after we submit the 'Introducing' form?

We will only contact you if we're going to feature you in the 'Introducing' section - sorry if that sounds rude, but there are only so many hours in the day and we prefer to spend these listening to / reading submissions rather than writing explanations as to why we don't want to feature you. If you don't hear from us within 2-4 weeks of submission, it probably means we're not going to feature you.

What kind of music are you interested in?

We have no rules and try to keep an open mind. Take a browse through the music we have featured here, or on our @monkeystunes twitter profile to get a vague idea, but really we're open to anything.
